RSS ReadWrite™ Module

The optional Atlas RSS ReadWrite™ Module serves as the central location for the management of internally generated and externally referenced RSS feeds. Here, RSS ReadWrite categories are defined and populated with RSS feed subscription information to offer Really Simple Syndication to Websites.

This functionality is made possible through the RSS ReadWrite Module, the NewsMaker Article Listing tag and the built-in Link tag. Through a combination of these functions, pages may display RSS feeds from external sites while offering visitors access to XML feeds generated from sites in Workcenter itself.  Additional info:

  • The ReadWrite Writer writes RSS v2.0 XML files.
  • The ReadWrite Reader can read v0.91, v0.92, v1.0 and v2.0 feeds.
  • It also supports Atom feeds and follows redirects (used by FeedBurner and others)
